Viva Jerusalema
AL AQsa
Absolute beauty of muslim world
You may purchase the series of 9 A3 size paintings with the original drawing of Palestinian artist in one lot.
It has been determined the original pencil drawing is worth more than the whole series of the 9 paintings , but of course you may only purchase the original with the series
alternatively you may wish to be the proud owner of the series without the original which will still create magic in the building it is hanging - keeping the original myself enables me to continue making another series
there is a huge difference in price between the original and the subsequent paintings. This is because way back when the story of Jesus christ was being written in Jerusalem, they decided: :
work of
the last man on earth,
the lowest ranking 'geezer' from gaza to Jerusalem ,
the least worth EUNUCH in islam - in fact - as the example we know in the biblical story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch
was worth more than Mother Mary's input into the family and brother hood
as such art born out of Palestine today must reflect that way of thinking
and
one stroke of a brush by a Palestinian male of a pair is considered to be wroth more than how ever many hours of dedication to the art piece by the female contributor.
The original drawing of the Dome of Jerusalema snapped out of his mind one day whilst attending a function for refugees and other people from difficult backgrounds. The drawing was so perfectly proportionate without any aids of a compass or a ruler Noor snapped it up and decided to run with it and the idea, and to turn it into a series and as such the will for this project was born.
Noor - his artist friend - has learned a method of apartheid free painting and other art creation during the marches, rallies and demonstrations in support of Palestine. Being apartheid free is important in war art as it enables your piece of art to come to life on your wall rather than being a cemented, unmoving image. Some say truly apartheid free pictures move in time so as the situation on Palestina changes the picture will automatically be dressed in that new mood. There are no imaginary blockages, barricades in the process to cause breakages in the free flow of creation.
Sam - from Palestine - a well know muslim Artist in Bristol
has created works of art for the Muslim community in Bristol
over many years
delivers some amazing artwork of Dome of Jerusalema over a charity dinner for refugees
Supporting the Palestine movement by being born Palestinian or in other ways does enable one to shed a type of hate that's used for riots and in racism. Apartheid splits the mind or the approach in a way that does not allow the civilian to see the full picture (of whatever it is in question) and then that person is only able to perceive one side of a multi angled debate and simply spews against the other angles. That's apartheid: Un-enablement of grasping the full picture resulting in a stubborn adherence to one argument in the debate.
Supporting Palestine in the war of recent times, allows for this to be lifted off one's mind & heart and whilst one is creating artwork in Palestine's colours one is generating wealth for that country and that - in Palestine's case - is ensured to be Apartheid free.
Nobody chops one's head in half. Not all artwork goes through of course but having Sam in the team and Noor's dedication to His cause ensures every piece here has generated love as well as wealth for Palestine and as such IS apartheid free.
9 different paintings have been delivered as part of this artwork project and your funding will enable the publishing of a hard cover book containing stories, anecdotes science history and more to accompany each picture of the paintings.
they also designed a set of postcards in a pack for you to buy
apartheid
Sam and Noor started selling ad hoc art work; food art in the 4 colours and design cards, fridge magnets, mugs, tiles, posters and more at Palestine marches, rallies and demonstrations, film screenings, court hearings, presentations and more.
they gained sufficient encouragement from Bristolian Palestine supporters to put a project together and go on KIck-starter to enable a publishing of a book.
it didn't work
War generated art work is pricey. Most artists - whether established or fresh - simply cannot produce art work during war and whilst it is recognized and understood literally tonnes of creative ideas are generated during war times - some in ingenious category - most of these are put on hold - we say the artist just ran out of steam .
the artist didn't have this or that, the mood was too low during those rather heavy stretches of social structure's absolute failure to provide security for us
Another way of explanation it is that the war's structure sifts very thoroughly its supporters and most simply fall out and only very few remain actually able to create. You need to be dedicated, knowledgeable, enabled to actually deal with questions like apartheid or zionism (in this case) before you can then put pen to paper and steam ahead.
Very very luckily Sam and Noor from Bristol had remained up and are generating artwork in Palestine's colours virtually every day... And you are lucky to be able to purchase from them here.
